As part of the New Product Development team, you will play an essential role in supporting Product Managers, creating and testing samples, and contributing to the development of new and innovative food products.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of food development while collaborating with industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Assist Product Managers in developing products that meet customer briefs across various categories such as chicken, duck, fish, seafood, vegetarian, and vegan.
Prepare and cook food samples for internal tasting panels.
Support customer presentations and quality panels, Communicate with customers on behalf of Product Managers as needed.
Complete all necessary development documents required by customers and suppliers.
Stay up to date on market trends, food innovations, and new ingredients through store visits, market data, and food trend research.
Collaborate with internal and external teams, including procurement, technical, supply chain, and factory teams, to meet development goals.
Manage and organise sample materials for the Malvern office, including the preparation and shipment of samples.
Skills and Experience: Previous experience in product development is desirable.
Analytical with strong IT skills Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask.
A deep passion for food , keeping up with restaurant and retail trends, packaging innovations, and new ingredients.
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
A motivated team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid UK driving licence Located in Malvern this role is fully office based and offers a salary of up to £28k (depending on experience) plus excellent additional benefits.
