We are currently seeking a skilled Flexographic Printer Operative to join our client's team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating Nilpeter presses, although this is not essential.
The primary responsibilities of the role will include setting up and operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all printed materials meet the required specifications and quality standards.

The Role: Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties Operate Flexographic Printing equipment according to procedures and job specifications Daily productivity responsibility ensuring that individual schedule and targets set are achieved.
Ensuring that jobs are produced to the highest quality (ISO 9001), food (BRC) and PS9000 (Pharmaceutical) standards and that relevant SOP's are adhered to at all times Responsibility for cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process.
Relaying information through the Specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
To work with Shift Supervisor to continually improve quality, processes and production efficiencies.
Advising the Shift Supervisor if any tooling is not performing as well as is expected so that, if necessary, replacements can be purchased.
Maintain and set AVT inspection equipment to ensure optimum effectiveness and quality standards.
Ensuring job set up in most efficient time using minimal ink and materials Adjusting and recording ink mixes, if approved by the Shift supervisor Checking colours using X-rite spectrophotometer, match to and GMK The Candidate: Experience in the labels industry with relevant experience of flexographic printing Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop team working and problem-solving PC literacy Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives Enthusiasm and determination to excel.
Shifts: One week rotating shift pattern, Monday - Friday:
6am – 2pm
2pm – 10pm
Salary: The salary is entirely negotiable depending on experience, as an industry leading company they are willing to pay above and beyond the going rate depending on the candidate.
