Our client is an established manufacturer of flexible packaging based in Folkestone, Kent.
They are currently recruiting for a Flexographic Printer to join there team.
They produce work for the majority of food manufacturers in the UK and Europe, including many large supermarkets using 8 colour presses.
The ideal candidate will have experience in running modern flexographic printing machinery within a high quality environment.
Summary: Permanent Contract Monday to Friday rotating either earlies or lates, 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm Immediate starts available 37.5 hours per week contract £26'800 per year REQUIREMENTS Demonstrate an ability to learn new skills.
Willingness to commit to ongoing training.
Capable of working in a team.
The capacity to work conscientiously and to set procedures.
Methodical approach to tasks.
Capacity to follow verbal and written instructions.
Punctual and reliable.
Flexible approach to covering holidays and other absences.
Good numeracy skills and the ability to complete paperwork.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE: Shift work in a factory or similar environment.
Working knowledge of ISO9001 procedures, and Basic Food Hygiene principles.
Previous experience in running a flexographic printing press.
