Culina Group operates from over 100+ depots across the UK and Ireland, serving more than 1,000 clients over its framework of chilled, ambient, contract packaging solutions and fresh and baked goods.
We are now looking to recruit a Fleet Technician on a full time permanent basis at our Bellshill site.
Shift: 4ON 4OFF Days
Salary: £17.50 per hour - £18.50 per hour.
Job Description
You are required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with Culina Asset Management's AG Policies and the Company's Compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition law.
Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers
Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
Overhaul electrical equipment and components
Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment
Welding and metal working
Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation
Parts ordering and stores management
Support team members including Apprentice Technicians as required
Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs
Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed
Other work within normal grade/job skills as required
Ad-hoc duties as required
Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance
Qualifications
HGV L3 in vehicle maintenance; L2 and time served will be considered.
Cat C+E licence highly desirable.
Excellent customer service mindset
Great communication skills
Ability to work quickly and effectively
Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Technician
Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing
Diagnostics skills/qualifications – desirable
Fleet experience
