Company Description Boden & Davies Ltd, founded in the late 1950s by Geoff Boden, is a family-owned company with over 70 road haulage vehicles and multiple sites across the UK.
The main depot in Astley Manchester operates a wood recycling plant, handling over 800 tonnes of waste wood daily.
The company is also a leading manufacturer of pet products, distributing to markets worldwide.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site Fleet Manager role located in Tyldesley at The Bodens Group.
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations, implementing DOT regulations, managing fleet maintenance, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications DOT Regulations and Fleet Management skills Analytical Skills and Operations Management experience Knowledge of Fleet Operations in a waste related site Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Effective communication and leadership abilities Experience working with multiple vehicle types, i.e.
skip trucks, walking floors and tippers.
