If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.Recruitment ProfileThe Scottish Borders Council is looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Fleet Compliance and Asset Manager to be based at our Newton St. Boswells depot but with a remit to cover outlying workshops within the Scottish Borders.The successful candidate will be responsible for asset management and maintenance compliance as well as overseeing our six in-house workshops.Fleet is a dynamic department which is currently investing in its vehicles and plant to service all SBC departments efficiently, we pride ourselves on having a positive team culture of collaboration and inclusion, making it a great place to work and develop.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
