Job summary We are seeking to recruit two Fixed term Consultants to join our dynamic and friendly Anaesthetics department.
We are a busy anaesthetic department with a commitment to train both local and international trainees and have an active educational programme.
The successful candidate will hold the FRCA or equivalent and have evidence of extensive experience within anaesthesia.
We particularly welcome applications from motivated individuals keen to invest in the development of our services and who will contribute to a positive departmental culture Main duties of the job The successful applicants will part take in the General Anaesthetic rota, comprising anaesthetic duties for a wide range of surgical interventions, both planned and emergency (specialties detailed above).
Stabilisation of paediatric emergencies prior to transfer is undertaken by both the General Anaesthetic rota and the Intensive Care rota.
