Job overview An opportunity has become available for an experienced Children's Nurse to support the Leadership and delivery of care in a Band Ward Manager capacity on Robins Ward.
Working alongside a supportive and collaborative multi professional team developing services with opportunity for self development.The applicant should demonstrate skills and leadership of Nursing the acutely sick child, supporting MDT colleagues and managing families compassionately.
Main duties of the job The ward sister will be a highly experienced, knowledgeable clinical leader, who provides clinical and professional leadership and support to the ward team.
Acting as a role model the ward sister will promote and monitor safe and effective practice.
The ward sister will develop the ward team to ensure considerate and compassionate care is delivered by a competent workforce and develop processes to enhance the patient experience.
