Fixed Asset Accountant

Interim Fixed Asset Accountant - Oxford - intial 6 month contract £250-£300 a day (via umbrella) In2 Consult are partnering with a business in Oxford on the recruitment of a Fixed Asset Accountant for an initial 6 month contract.
The key duties of this Fixed Asset Accountant role includes: Ownership of the Fixed Assset Register - reporting montly appreciation and depreciation Presenting updates/trends to senior stakeholders Cross functional Buisness Partnering Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring all additions, disposals, and transfers are accurately recorded.
Conduct periodic reviews and physical audits of fixed assets to verify existence and condition.
Reconcile the fixed asset register with the general ledger regularly.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to fixed assets, including depreciations.
Assist in preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.
Qualifications and neccesary experience: ACCA/CIMA/ACA minimum part qualified Proven experience in fixed asset accounting, preferably in a medium to large organisation.
Strong understanding of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
