Fitter

Our client, a leading aerospace company, is currently seeking a skilled Fitter with composites experience to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a day shift role.
Key Responsibilities: Assembles and tests product to agreed engineering methods and processes Supports and conforms to Quality procedures to maintain compliance, by ensuring adherence to the defined processes and procedures.
Task Management Assembles, and tests composite components to agreed engineering methods and processes documented within the manufacturing instruction sheets.
Good understanding of material handling Is able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Complete surveys and repairs to agreed practices.
Supports and conforms to Quality procedures to maintain compliance, by ensuring adherence to the defined processes and procedures.
Autonomy Is able to carry out assembly tasks without supervision.
Works with team to identify and drive productivity and performance improvement opportunities to support cost reductions.
Has an understanding of lean manufacturing processes and works with Contributes to the continuous development of the safety, health and environment requirements within the team's work area People Management Actively supports and progresses his / her own development needs to ensure task flexibility via the use of Skills matrix.
