Role Overview: Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Fire Risk Specialist to join our Building Safety team.
Customer safety is a priority for us, and this is an integral role; you'll ensure that we're doing everything we can so that customers are safe in their homes.
Working within our specialist team of 11, you'll be responsible for fire risk assessing Thirteen's applicable buildings, ensuring that we remain legal, safe and compliant.

Opportunities to buy and sell annual leave Key Responsibilities: Carry out fire risk assessments to a diverse range of buildings including high rise, complex and in-scope buildings Provide expert advice to colleagues, customers and other stakeholders Build great relationships with key partners, such as relevant fire authorities Support with fire safety training across the business Conduct fire safety audits with fire and rescue services Our main operating area is across the Tees Valley, but our portfolio is geographically spread from Northumberland and down to Hull, so you'll be expected to travel when required About You: In-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
You'll provide leadership, expert knowledge, accountability and compliance in relation to all relevant fire safety legislation Knowledge of preparing comprehensive fire-related works specifications and work designs to a high standard Previous experience within a fire and Rescue service would be desirable but it's not essential Extensive experience of carrying out fire risk assessments to PAS79 standard in a broad range of settings, such as general needs, and care and support Sound knowledge of building regulations, disabled access, fire, CDM and health and safety legislation A calm and professional manner, coupled with a fantastic customer service ethos Why Thirteen Group?
