Role: Fire Risk Assessor Location: North London & Home Counties Salary: Up to £48,000 + company car or car allowance Sector: Property & Construction WRG are supporting a risk management organisation who are based across the UK, the business is looking to appoint an experienced and competent Fire Risk Assessor to cover their project portfolio across North London and Homes Counties (Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Surrey) Our client oversees a diverse portfolio of projects from residential, and commercial up to nuclear and MOD schemes.
It is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious fire safety professional to join a leading name within the industry during an exciting period of growth.
Responsibilities Conduct fire safety risk assessments in accordance with current fire safety regulations and provide suitable recommendations for remedial actions.
Produce clear and concise fire safety reports.
Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to schedule appointments and discuss assessment findings.
Provide fire safety advice and guidance to clients to help them meet their legal requirements.
Conduct fire safety training sessions for clients and their employees.
Keep up-to-date with changes in fire safety legislation and industry best practices.
Attend client meetings as required.
Requirements NEBOSH Fire or similar qualification.
Membership to IFE or IFSM (desirable).
Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments.
Familiar with assessment applications such as Riskbase.
Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards.
A full driving license is required as this role may involve travel to different locations.
