The Fire Maintenance Engineer will deliver work across Essex, Kent & surrounding area.
Purpose of the Role/Role Overview: The purpose of this role is to provide maintenance and servicing of life safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European standards, in accordance with BS5839 standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide day to day planned and reactive maintenance of contracts Servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems To respond to emergency callouts and carry out any remedial works as required Carry out asset verification Install replacement/additional equipment Take part in the on-call rota Conduct site surveys as required Supporting the development of apprentices To always act in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the clients Required Skills and experience: Previous Fire Maintenance experience Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266.
FIA units (1,3,5) Driving Licence Working Environment: This is operational site-based position and involves collaborating closely with the support service team.

The role requires proactive interaction and liaison with clients/customers, to ensure effective communication and first-class customer service.
Benefits: Basic Salary £34 - £38k with opportunity for overtime and standby, leading to a realistic OTE of £50,000- £65,000 28 days holiday (Including Stat) increasing by 1 day for each full year completed up to 25 days.
