We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and driven installation/commissioning engineer to join our projects and small worksteam.
The successful candidate will need to:
Possess proven, demonstrable skills, knowledge and hands-on experience in installation/commissioning, fault finding and maintenance, across a wide range of fire alarm, intruder, CCTV and access control systems.Be computer literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Be a team player, with a positive, can-do attitude.Be a reliable and capable self-starter, with the ability to diagnose, repair and work on your own initiative to resolve issues.Be flexible and understanding of the need to meet deadlines and resolve critical site issues.Role Requirements An excellent working knowledge of British Standards relating to Fire Alarms (BS5839), Emergency Lighting (BS5266) and Intruder/CCTV/Access Control systems to SSAIB standards is essential, with a good working knowledge of best installation practices.
You must possess a full, preferably clean, driving licence.
Satisfactory Enhanced DBS checks and screening to BS7858 will be required for this role.
An ECS card is desirable.
Location: London and the Home Counties, some working away may be occasionally required.
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
The role will be part of the call out rota.
Salary/Package: Basic starting salary of up to £42,000.00 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
28 days annual leave (in addition to public/bank holidays).
