We are recruiting for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team.
The FP&A Manager is responsible for driving strategic financial initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the company's financial health and growth.
This role is pivotal in shaping Clearway's business strategy by providing critical insights, accurate financial forecasts, and actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Planning and Forecasting Lead the financial planning and forecasting, including long-term strategic planning, for the Clearway group.Own the group valuation model including scenario modelling, sensitivities and highlight financial risks and opportunities.Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making.Support the Group Finance Director and / or Group CFO with major financing events (debt and equity raising and refinancing).Provide predictive analytics and driver-based planning to optimise business outcomes.Budgeting and Performance Monitoring Own the group annual budgeting process and implement continuous budgeting cycles with rolling forecasts.
(P&L, BS & CF).Own the quarterly group reforecast process.Create analysis and present budgets and forecasts to Group Finance Director and / or Group CFO.Work with the accounting team to track monthly, quarterly, and annual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommend corrective actions.Ensure covenant calculations are modelled with each forecast process.Create, monitor, and present 13-week rolling short term cash flow forecasts for the group.Financial Analysis and Insights Conduct profitability analysis to evaluate regions, business units, products, and services.Provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, cash flow, working capital and capital expenditure.Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for the Senior Leadership Team.Lead or support on various finance projects and initiatives, as required by the finance team and / or business.Collaboration and Reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams, divisions, and regions to align financial strategies with corporate goals.Assist divisions in setting up forecast models.Deliver regular financial reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to key stakeholders.Act as an advisor to the Senior Management Team, offering accurate financial advice.Risk Assessment and Opportunity Identification Assess potential revenue opportunities, investment strategies, and financial risks.Identify and implement strategies for cost optimisation and revenue growth.Evaluate the impact of potential decisions on cash flow and profitability.Technology and Process Optimisation Drive process improvements in financial planning and reporting systems.Support on data collection and optimisation.Recommend and implement financial modelling solutions and data cubes.Key skills, experience, and qualifications Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field – ACA equivalent or CFA is required.5+ years' experience in FP&A, financial management, or a similar role.Experience in M&A Transaction Services is highly desirable.Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.Excellent writing skills.Intermediate to advanced financial modelling skills with the ability to create dynamic financial models from scratch, including sensitivities and scenario analysis.Proficient in FP&A tools and ERP systems.Experience of driver-based planning, and scenario analysis.Familiarity with BI tools is advantageous.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills to present data-driven insights clearly.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why work for Clearway?
