About the role The successful candidate will manage the financial planning cycles of strategic plan, annual budget and in-year forecasting, and provide financial insight, support, and challenge to the business.
Core Responsibilities Manages the delivery of the financial planning cycle to ensure financial discipline and rigour are maintained within the business.
Review and challenge business inputs to financial plans to ensure plans are robust and aligned to our business plan.
Own the D365 Budgeting & Forecasting and Project Management & Accounting modules.
Supports key business decision making through financial insight, analysis and modelling.
Maintains and develops strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the Executive Leadership team, business groups, and within Finance, to ensure the timely delivery of cost-effective decisions, within budget.
Represents the Finance function within the business and promotes best practice financial management.
Work closely with finance business partners and finance analysts to analyse and understand monthly financial results and performance against plan.
Develop targets and monitor progress against key performance indicators for the business, review and challenge where performance is not being met.
Liaises with finance colleagues to ensure that all finance policies are communicated, understood and implemented consistently across the business.
Focus on continuous improvement, identify opportunities for automation.
Develop and maintain suite of self-service reporting for business stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements Appropriate Accounting qualification (i.e.
CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified) or equivalent experience.
Experience in FP&A, business partnering or related area.
Financial modelling and analytics experience.
Power BI and Advance Excel skills.
Knowledge of systems such as D365 and Vena desirable.
Experience with using Copilot in a financial setting desirable.
