About our client

We are partnering with a leading multi-asset investment firm which is looking to bring a financial controller into their UK based finance function.
This is a great opportunity to shape the finance department through ongoing development and improvement of finance processes, insightful reporting and analysis, and efficient and effective workflows.
The financial controller will work closely with the group financial accountant on all management and financial accounting activities, driving multiple projects and workstreams across the organisation.
What the job involves Maintaining and reviewing accounting recordsAssuming ownership of the balance sheet and P&LPreparing and reviewing monthly audit filesLiaise with tax accountants and support the preparation of VAT reportsManaging and preparing all statutory financial statementsPreparing the accounting, tax and reporting for the employee investment vehiclesWho we are looking for Qualified accountant, fund experience would be desirableFinancial services experience would be desiredA confident business partner with exposure working in a fast-paced high growth environmentExperience collaborating with a wide range of business units in a global work environmentHands on approach with a readiness to be flexible and pragmaticStrong attention to detail
