With over 50 years experience in the logistics industry McCulla Ireland are one of the countrys leading providers of ambient, chilled and frozen logistics solutions throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe.
We currently have Operating Centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with further plans for expansion.
McCulla has over 300 employees working across our Transport, Warehousing, Customs and Green Bioenergy Operations.
There is an ever-growing modern fleet consisting of over 120 vehicles and 200 trailers operating our just in time service with environmental sustainability at the forefront of everything we do and making us unique in the market for our customers.
We are seeking to recruit a commercially astute Financial Controller to join our Team, working from our Lisburn Head Office location.

The role will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Finance Function as well as providing Commercial Support to the wider management team.
Working closely with the Finance Director, the successful applicant will be a proven "hands on" professional who is ready for their next opportunity in a fast-paced environment.
About The Role Areas of responsibility will include: Day to day management of the Finance Team and their continuous development.
Ensuring that all month end and year end duties are carried out accurately and on time, including the preparation of management and financial accounts.
Develop and implement improved systems, controls and procedures across the department.
Provide commercial support to the Senior Leadership Team to support the ambitious growth plans for 2025 and beyond.
Responsible for daily cash management and cash flow of the business.
Managing VAT returns and weekly / monthly payroll functions.
Liaising with auditors at year-end.
Manage budget and forecasting processes.
Identify and action process improvement initiatives and opportunities across the business.
Lead the implementation and integration of a new Finance Software Package.
Criteria: Hold a recognised accountancy qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA Be commercially astute, articulate, technically strong and insightful with the ability to operate at both Strategic and Operational levels.
Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
Strong ability to bring about change and make improvements.
Skilled in MS Office applications (particularly Excel and MS Power BI) ERP software experience (e.g.
Navision, Microsoft Business Central or similar) High level of leadership, organisation and knowledge of core financial systems and general accounting procedures.
Terms: Full Time Permanent Role, Monday Friday, general office hours.
