Financial Controller - Leading Retailer - £65-75K

Your new company:

I am recruiting a Financial Controller to join a well-known & loved UK Retailer. You'll have a hybrid of commercial & financial reporting within this role, managing a small finance team and reporting into an impressive CFO.

Your new role:

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:
Producing monthly accounts and management accountsCreating monthly and annual reports to present results, trends, and financial forecastsManaging cash flowLeading a small finance teamSystem improvementOverseeing the yearly audit and ensuring compliance with accounting standardsCalculating and submitting tax and regulatory returnsOverseeing financial analysisReviewing financial plans and budgets regularly to identify saving opportunitiesPreparing balance sheet reconciliationsReporting to the CFO with timely and accurate financial informationAssisting the CFO to present reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board membersPreparing ad-hoc reports and analysisWhat you'll need to succeed:

You'll ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified, trained within an accountancy practice with Audit exposure and have since moved into industry (open on sector) and are now looking for your 2nd or 3rd move. Team management experience is a bonus, but not essential.
