Job Summary: As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization.
You will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the health industry, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of leadership.
Key Responsibilities: - Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards within the health industry.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support the organization's goals.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including monthly and annual financial statements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Audit Coordination: Manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring adequate resources for operational needs.
- Cost Control: Analyze and control costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, ideally within the health industry.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the health sector.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
