Financial Controller

A leading consultancy firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to provide technical accounting oversight and control across the company's expanding group entities.
This role will cover operations in the UK, Europe, and the USA, with plans for further geographic growth.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting practices across all group entities, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and adherence to relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
In addition, you will be responsible for the following; Ensure financial compliance, evaluating and managing risk, including coordinating and preparing processes for audit readiness.
Collaborate with Commercial Finance analysts in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
Scope out, implement, and improve financial processes and controls.
Define KPIs and measures of success for finance initiatives and processes.
Implement an effective control environment and maintain strong financial accounting records.
Provide regular reports to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
Work with the CFO to evolve the month-end process and embed changes company-wide.
Ensure all statutory returns are accurate and timely.
Develop and implement Group consolidation reporting processes.
Develop and report on key financial metrics to manage financial performance.
Manage finance systems to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Experience required; Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Ideally you will be 5 years PQE and have previously worked in a similar role Must have US GAAP experience Previous Audit/Compliance experience Salary + Benefits £60- £80k depending on experience plus discretionary bonus potential up to 10% Bupa Healthcare cover (single, partner/family) this would be covered by the company.
