Global leading entertainment, sports and media businessFinancial Controller for the Sports division About Our Client Michael Page Finance are exclusively partnering a global leading entertainment, media, and sports business based in their International HQ in West London.


The business was founded near on 50 years ago and have been the go to within the sectors they operate in.
With recent investment the business has grown significantly through some major acquisitions that have facilitated new markets and increased market share.
With visibility in the entertainment, sports, TV and film sectors, they are continuing on their growth journey internationally.


Based in their modern offices in West London, the business is collaborative, diverse, award winning and they lead the way in the marketplace.


As part of the growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Financial Controller to lead one of their divisions.

Job Description The Financial Controller will be responsible for:
Leading, mentoring and developing a team of 4 Key business partner to stakeholders at all levelsResponsible for the financial and management accountingPresentation of monthly board packsInstrumental in the budget and forecasting processPeriod end closePreparation of the statutory accounts and leading the year-end auditCash flow management, forecasting, planningRefine and define the control environmentInvolved in m&a activities including integrationIdentify and implement financial process and efficiency The Successful Applicant The Financial Controller will be:
A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with demonstrable post-qualified experienceStrong technical accounting abilities (IFRS, USGAAP)Prior experience leading and developing a teamProven track record managing non-finance stakeholders with the ability to influenceAbility to work with ambiguityCommercial mindset What's on Offer The Financial Controller role comes with a base salary of £100,000-£120,000 depending on experience, discretionary bonus, holiday allowance, private medical, pension and much more!


The business operate a hybrid working model 3 days in the office.
