What will I be doing?
We're looking for an ambitious, inquisitive & mission-driven Financial Controller.
Reporting into our VP Finance, you'll be joining our finance team to help shine a light on our unit economics and to plan for our next phase of growth.
Specific responsibilities will include:Overseeing the preparation of the reporting packs for the executive team, the board, and investorsTaking ownership of the model - working with the VP Finance to develop our budget and accurately forecast strategic scenariosCollaborating with other departments to better measure performance and drive operational efficiencySupporting the customer facing teams through their sales processesWorking with our global set of advisors to ensure we are compliant in the jurisdictions where we operateDeveloping and implementing our accounting policies and controls framework as the team scalesBeing the key contact point for the audit teamWe're looking for someone who: Has 5+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a post-qualified/ managerial roleStrong understanding of accounting principles, standards, financial controls and regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindsetProficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skillsAbility to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholdersProficiency with financial software and tools (e.g.
Xero & associated ecosystem)Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified preferredFamiliarity with operating in the US is a plusCares deeply about the climate and ecosystems of the earthIs a self-starter who thrives in constantly evolving environments, ideally with early-stage experienceWe'd like someone highly ambitious, motivated and eager to propel their career forward.
