Financial Controller

Our client is an acquisitive, PE-backed business in going through rapid growth, looking to hire a no.2 to the CFO. They're looking to hire a technically-sound Financial Controller to work with existing and newly acquired subsidiaries, managing and consolidating Group accounts, while aligning processes and controls to ensure efficiency within the finance department. Your Duties: Group / Technical accounting across all subsidiaries Preparing annual statutory accounts and consolidated accounts Supporting the CFO with accounting for existing and newly acquired subsidiaries Supporting the CFO with budgets, forecasts and cash flow management Managing group audit and liaising with external auditors Supporting the CFO with technical accounting queries Consolidating group balance sheet with analysis and commentary Working with subsidiary accountants on month end Aligning processes, controls, accounts etc. between subsidiaries Assisting with tax matters and compliance Your profile: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified is essential Interested in working for an acquisitive / fast growing business Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement Exposure to PE-back businesses would be beneficial Right to work in the UK and within a commutable distance What's on offer?
