Financial Controller

Henderson Scott are recruiting a qualified Financial Controller for an established business based in Birmingham.
This role is a newly created position, will report to the Finance Director and play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations.
This opportunity will suit an experienced qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) who has strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management and leadership.
The Role: This opportunity is a vital hire for this business, they are looking for the successful candidate to bring in an array of experience and manage the finance functions daily.
Financial and management reporting Budgeting and forecasting Management of accounting operations Cashflow management Excellent understanding of VAT, Tax, and financial auditing.
Experience of developing and mentoring a team.
Qualifications and Experience: Supporting the Finance Director and being a key member of the finance team, we are looking for a career focused individual who wants to grow in their career, has strong accounting knowledge and team management skills.
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified Strong knowledge of FRS 102 accounting standards Proficient in accounting software and financial systems High level of attention to detail Excellent communications skills - non financial and financial stakeholders Salary and Package: £70,000-£80,000 with an excellent benefits package Hybrid working (3 days in office)
