Finance Assistant - Witham £26-£28k 100% office based Full-time or part-time across 5 days Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about finance?
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small but dynamic finance team.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our finance operations while contributing to the overall success of the business.
Your Responsibilities: Accounts Payable processing using a semi-automated system (overheads, bill of materials, UK and foreign transactions).
Processing supplier payment runs.
Maintaining and updating the sales ledger.
Ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date.
Accruals and prepayment postings.
Posting transactions into Sage Accounting.
Investigating invoice discrepancies and resolving queries.
Reconciling supplier statements.
Maintaining the vehicle database.
Assisting with quarterly VAT returns.
Posting expense claims.

Proficient in IT systems with an analytical mindset.
