Due to a highly valued member of the team taking maternity leave, a 12-month FTC has opened up for an experienced Financial Analyst to join my client remotely, reporting to the Finance Director.
With data-driven insights key to their success, we're looking for a Financial Analyst to support finance and business teams, providing critical intelligence that drives productivity and performance across the company.

The Role: As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analysing a wide range of financial and business data, reporting key metrics, identifying trends and generating actionable insights to support business growth and improve sales productivity.
This role requires someone who can streamline reporting processes, enabling effective, data-driven decisions throughout the business.
Responsibilities: Collect, analyse, and interpret data to drive business intelligence Deliver insights that enhance productivity and support business objectives Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency, supporting decision-making across teams Work with sales, commission and income data to reconcile and resolve discrepancies Work cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements Experience and Skills: Proven experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in a fast-paced setting Advanced Excel user as well as other tools such as Power BI and Tableau for example Strong experience with large data sets and business performance analysis Proficient in KPI reporting, especially in sales and e-commerce environments Evidence of improving data accuracy and reporting processes Skilled in working with cross-functional teams Degree in Finance, Business, or related field (qualified or part qualified accountant a bonus) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) Experience with CRM systems for data analysis Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team PLEASE NOTE THE INTERVIEW PROCESS WILL INVOLVE AN EXCEL TASK
