Position: Finance Analyst Location: Slough Overview: Reporting to the Senior European Finance Manager, we are looking for a Financial Analyst / FP&A to become a Finance business partner for this global FMCG group.
The company has operations across the globe and a market leader in their sector.
This position will be a key hire in the European finance team and trusted advisor to the business units.
Responsibilities Include: Lead preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly financial results Implement financial and operational planning Work with Finance team to develop business partnership with operating group leaders, examining financial performance, investigating opportunities for profit enhancement, and recommending actions that promote improved financial results Preparation and presentation of quarterly budgets and business plans Coordinate budget timelines and submissions, working with operating group leaders, other European finance staff, and Corporate Finance Cost management Working with the European Controller and senior management to identify and lead strategic decision analysis projects to drive value Work with functional managers to identity and develop KPI metrics / reports that are accurate measures of ongoing business efficiency and that aid in predicting future performance Develop and maintain partner relationships with leadership by providing decision support through adequate and timely information Requirements: Educated to degree level in a Finance or Business related subject - Part / Full Qualified Accountant an advantage At least 3-4 years finance experience Solid experience as a Finance Analyst / FP&A in multinational corporations Experience in budgeting, reporting and analysis with strong quantitative and problem solving skills Self-Starter with a strong ethic over producing high quality / accurate work Experience working with and supporting senior management required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse people across different functions/cultures Good IT skills - MS Office, ERP and BI Summary: This is a great opportunity for a professional Financial Analyst looking to join a truly global organisation and rapidly develop your career within a multinational and dynamic environment.
