#LI-EJ #LI-Hybrid This is the job Join our team as a Financial Analyst and become a key player in providing essential financial insights and analysis to support the strategic objectives of our AAX business unit.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Modelling, you will be instrumental in delivering financial insights and analysis that drive business growth and profitability.
Your role will encompass month-end close accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and ad hoc analysis and reporting.
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting month-end close accounting, developing and managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and performing financial modelling and ad hoc analysis.
Your focus will be on generating actionable insights that support the strategic goals of the AAX business unit, ultimately driving business growth and profitability.
What will I be doing?
Collaborate with the AAX leadership team and support the Finance Business Partner in preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
Develop financial models and business cases, providing decision support to the AAX leadership team.
Analyse financial data and other KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Evaluate monthly financial performance by comparing actual results against plans and forecasts, providing insightful analysis.
Perform month-end close accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for the business unit.
Work with the leadership team to gather inputs for the Balanced Score Card and upload these into the system.
Support the Finance Business Partner with ad-hoc financial analysis to aid key business decisions within the business unit.
Additionally, support the Head of Financial Modelling with similar activities for other Head Office functions.
What do I need?
Fully qualified or part qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
Demonstrated proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to create detailed financial reports and compelling presentations.
Proven experience in performing month-end close accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across various business functions and levels, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities efficiently.
