My client is a £100m+ t/o Industrial Services company, with its HO based in Staffordshire and depots across the UK.
The business is currently undergoing a period of significant internal re-structure to support its forward growth strategy.
As a result, the new CFO seeks an experienced Financial Accounting Manager with strong systems improvement skills on an initial 6 month Interim basis.
Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the migration of the Accounting platform onto a new ERP system (IFS).
Train and develop more junior Accounts and Transactional Processing staff based at HO and local depot sites.
Develop and improve the timely delivery of robust Financial Reporting.
Develop Group Financial Consolidation process.
Reconciliations for Inter-Depot Re-charges.
Liaise with the Auditors and Tax Authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
Overall, to work closely with the new CFO to help raise the bar in terms of the development of more robust financial processes across the business and to ensure the smooth and seamless transition onto the newly integrated ERP system.
My client requires a technically strong hands-on qualified accountant who is available to start by 1st December.
The successful candidate will possess strong Consolidation and Financial Reporting experience on an ERP systems platform; previous experience with IFS would be an advantage but not pre-requisite.
You will also be able to demonstrate strong experience of developing robust financial systems/processes, including well developed financial modelling/Excel ability.
Day rate: £350-£450/day NB This is a hybrid Interim role so the successful candidate can be located anywhere within the N West or Midlands regions within commutable travel to the Staffordshire HO and various depot sites.
