Our commitment to a flexible and hybrid working culture The Financial Accountant, reporting to the Head of Finance Compliance & Control, is responsible for preparing external reports, managing month-end accounting, and handling debt and refinance transactions.
They ensure compliance in balance sheet reconciliations, support external audits, and provide technical accounting assistance.
The role requires a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with experience in technical accounting and engagement with external auditors.
The Role • Responsible for preparation of external reporting including statutory accounts and investor reporting • Perform the holding company(s) month end accounting and reporting • Account for debt and refinance transactions amongst other technical accounting topics • Responsible for administering the balance sheet reconciliation control process ensuring compliance across all finance areas • Support the external audit process including provision of audit evidence and responses to audit inquiries • Support with technical accounting assistance to the wider finance team • Support ad hoc special accounting projects as required The Person • Experience of technical accounting including engagement with external auditors, experience within a top 10 accounting firm would be desirable • Proficient in current technical accounting principles• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) Why join Arqiva?
