Financial Accountant

Position: Financial Accountant Location: Guildford (Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite) Rate: £490 Inside IR35 An experienced Financial Accountant is needed to join one of our major clients in their Financial Control team, supporting ongoing operations.
This role will drive financial integrity across various entities, focusing on reporting accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.
Responsibilities of a Financial Accountant : Financial Reporting : Oversee financial actuals, prepare monthly reports, and ensure compliance in statutory accounts.
Audit Management : Coordinate with international audit, tax, and accounting partners to maintain compliance.
Project Accounting : Review project financials across business units, ensuring robust and accurate accounting practices.
Ledger & Compliance Integrity : Maintain ledger accuracy and compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
Process Improvements : Identify and implement financial control enhancements and support entity rationalization efforts.
Required Skills: Qualified Financial Accountant : ACCA or ACA preferred, with strong experience in financial control.
Expertise in Statutory Accounting & Audits : Proficient in statutory accounts preparation and audit processes.
IFRS : Solid experience of IFRS standards and application.
Project Accounting Experience : Background in project accounting within controlled environments.
Process Improvement Skills : Proven ability to lead financial process enhancements.
