Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Individually great, together unstoppable The Role and the Team We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our growing Finance team on 6-month FTC.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in strengthening our finance processes and ensuring data integrity as we scale up.
You'll oversee our annual external audit, manage tax compliance, oversee payroll, and handle balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.

What You'll Do Oversee and manage balance sheet reconciliations, offering guidance and support to the management accounts team Be responsible for the reconciliation and preparation of Group accounts, including intercompany postings and reconciliations Prepare monthly consolidation and financial performance reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and external standards Develop and review lender and investor reporting packs on a monthly and quarterly basis Oversee the annual external audit process, including the preparation of subsidiary and Group financial statements Manage all tax-related matters, including VAT, GST, PAYE, Corporation Tax, R&D claims, and employee-related taxes (P11d's, PSA) Take ownership of cashflow forecasting and reporting on a weekly basis Support the development of finance software systems and provide financial guidance to colleagues across the business, both in the UK and internationally What You'll Bring An ACCA or ACA qualification Experience leading audit processes and a strong knowledge of tax requirements ensuring compliance and accuracy across financial reporting, meeting all regulatory obligations Proficiency with UK-adopted international accounting standards and IFRS reporting to create financial statements that comply with UK and International standards Strong track record in financial statement preparation alongside expertise in system implementation improvements, supporting accurate reporting while streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making Experience in overseeing payroll processes and systems ensuring consistent and compliant payroll operations, contributing to overall organisational integrity Background in consultancy or professional services bringing industry best practices and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Proven track record working with Private Equity-backed businesses understanding the complexities and opportunities within such environments Our Culture Our members, partners and colleagues are at the heart of everything we do.
