Job Title: Finance Project Officer (Multiply Project)
Location: Newport City Council
Contract: 10 weeks, 15.17/hour
The Role: Deliver training to service users to improve financial skills, budgeting, and numeracy, supporting their access to services for financial resilience.

Key Responsibilities: Help individuals improve budgeting, numeracy, and sustain tenancies.
Promote financial and digital inclusion for independence.
Collaborate with partners to address financial challenges.
Assess needs, develop support plans, and deliver training.
Monitor training effectiveness and gather feedback.
Promote the project through marketing and social media.
Ensure safeguarding through appropriate referrals.
Support clients to access community resources and services.
Requirements: A-level or equivalent, or relevant experience.
Knowledge of social exclusion, numeracy, and homelessness.
Experience with vulnerable groups and training delivery.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Desirable: Teaching or training qualification.
Special Conditions: DBS check required.
Training and professional development mandatory.
