Finance Partner Early Stage / Portfolio Company Job Description Location - Belfast Salary £40-50K Are you an experienced finance professional, who has honed their craft, and is excited at the prospect to join a growing start up?
My client, a growing early company who is supported by VC funding is seeking a dynamic finance partner to join the team.
This crucial role will help shape the strategic path, and the financial health of the business.
This is a hybrid role based in the Belfast Area If you have 3-4 years experience in a leading role within a finance department, or perhaps a credible CFO from a similar background, then this is a role for you.
Key Responsibilities Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Preparing and presenting financial statements and performance reports.
Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and managing audits.
Analysing and optimising costs to enhance profitability.
Building out plans to grow the finance function in the business.
Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Qualifications 3-4 years in finance roles, preferably in a senior finance role Relevant accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Strong knowledge of financial systems.
Experience with software revenue recognition and SaaS models.
Nice to haves Growth mindset Either B2B or B2C experience.
