It will have primary Controllership responsibility for the European (EU) Industrial Manufacturing Operation located in Warrington, United Kingdom.
Reporting to the EU Controller and Finance Director (FD) Industrial Operations combined with strong links to the FD FP&A and the Plant Manager.
The individual will be responsible for ensuring the Manufacturing Plant operates in an effective control environment, mitigating the risk of financial misstatement, financial irregularity, and fraud.
The Job (responsibilities): Analysis and reporting of Plant fixed costs Analysis and reporting of headcount Analysis and reporting of Plant variable costs Maintaining/improving distribution volume and costs model Business partnering the Plant Manager, continuously challenging/supporting initiatives Fixed asset management, supporting the capitalization processes and audits Support the preparation of business plans, budget and forecasts Portfolio Rationalization 80:20 Analytics (supported cross-function) Maintain various Scorecards / KPI indicators Financial Statement Close & Reporting ROI Assessment for all aspects of Operations Inventory Analytics, Reporting & Development in coordination with S&OP Working Capital Review & Assessment Support non-production overhead analytics & Assessment: IT, Engineering (SGA) Ad hoc Projects Meet reporting deadlines ensuring the highest standards of data integrity are maintained The Person (requirements): Degree in Finance or Accounting with relevant qualification and industry experience looking to take the next step in your career Knowledge of US GAAP preferable, with progressive experience and responsibility in manufacturing finance Strong system and transactional accounting experience Proficient skills in a wide variety of IT applications such as Excel, SAP, Other Databases Strong communications skills and an eagerness to get involved across the team Strong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organization We offer: Ambitious and motivating challenges Regular working hours (Monday to Friday) Competitive benefits package including contributory pension scheme, private health insurance.
