Finance Operations Manager

About the role The finance function at Texthelp is going through a period of transformation with the implementation of new solutions for the finance operations teams to work with.
As we go through this transformation we are looking for an experienced manager to oversee the business as usual operations.
The team are currently working under different managers at the moment and the plan is that this role would support building a shared service function across the business, so an individual who is a strong people manager who is keen on reporting, change management and stakeholder engagement will be key to making this a success.
Main Responsibilities Finance Operations Management:Oversight of the day to day operations of all aspects of Accounts Payable (Purchase Orders, Payments, Expense and Credit Card Management), Accounts Receivables (Sale Order Approval, Invoicing, Credit Control) and customer financial queries by email and phone.
Intervening when required to ensure a high quality service to internal and external customers Continuous Improvement:Work closely with the team managers to ensure the processes are working effectively and identify improvements either for implementation or to be built into the scope of the new solutions.
Reporting:Enhance the existing monthly reporting on the tasks of the team in a visual format that highlights the key risks that exist in finance operations and ensures visibility of these with senior managers.
Support for integration and transformation activity:Bring your existing knowledge and what you find at Texthelp to assist in the build out of the future finance function.
Team Management: Effectively manage the finance operations team through regular one to ones with your direct reports, effective delegation of tasks, proportionate checks on quality and productivity.
Hold regular skip level meetings to ensure engagement across the team.
Work on development activities as required to support the future operation space.
Essential Criteria 3+ years experience in Finance Operations 2+ years experience in the leadership and management role 2+ years Experience working with data from multiple sources to compile reporting alongside strong excel / other reporting knowledge Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels of the business Desirable Criteria Prior experience of a SaaS business Experience in a company going through M&A activity CCAB or CIMA qualification If you think you have what we are looking for please complete an application on our website by the closing date of 5pm on Wednesday 20th November 2024.
