The role will be based in Manchester (UK).
We seek a finance officer to support the growing demands of a busy international finance team.
Working along side the Financial Controller in the UK and international colleagues.
This role would be ideal for someone with experience of a finance function who wants to learn and develop into a management accountant over time.
Experience in excel, xero and finance principles would be great, but not essential.
Hybrid working is available with 3 days in the office required.
Roles and Responsibilities • The key roles and responsibilities for this role will be: • Processing purchase invoices; • Preparing the weekly payment run for approval and generating batch payments; • Preparation of monthly payroll; • Carrying out regular bank reconciliations; • Processing staff expense claims; • Posting credit card expenses; • Resolving internal and external queries on a timely basis; • Cash flow forecasting • Assisting month end close down and management accounts • Other duties as required Essential criteria • MS Excel skills • Finance office experience preferred but not essential • Willing desire to learn and develop • Experience of using Xero • Payroll experience desirable but not essential • The ability to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy • Be self-directed and able to complete tasks with limited supervision Benefits • Base salary: £25,000 - £30,000; • Private Healthcare; • Group Life Insurance; • Income Protection Insurance; • Pension.
