We are now looking to add further to our Head Office Team with the newly created role of Finance & Office Assistant.
This role will directly support the Management Accountant with day-to-day finance duties, as well as general office duties.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to learn from an experienced Management Accountant and to grow and develop in the role.
This role would be ideally suited to a recent school or A-Level leaver who is ambitious and wants to take a first step into finance.
For the right person, there will be the future opportunity of support to undertake a professional finance qualification.
About the role Support the management accountant in the following areas: Weekly payroll and timesheet administration Preparation of sales invoices and sales reports Purchase ledger administration Supplier statement reconciliations Purchasing cards reconciliation and journal postings Maintaining mileage records General office duties to include the following areas: Assisting with the purchasing of general office supplies and consumables Arranging meetings Setting up mobile phones for new starters Email account management for new starters There will also be the opportunity to support the Management Accountant and wider business with ad hoc project work including, IT systems reviews and rollouts, recruitment fairs, HR administration and staff wellbeing initiatives.

This role will continue to develop and grow in the coming years and so would be best suited to an ambitious individual who understands that hard work and dedication will be the key to future career progression.
You will be intelligent, articulate and have a good level of attention to detail.
Ideally you will have good Microsoft Excel expertise.
You will be able to problem solve and after taking instructions, will be able to work independently and to a high standard.
Full training will be provided and therefore in addition to the above skills and aptitudes, we are looking for someone who cares and wants to make a difference.
On occasions there will be travel within the UK, however this will rarely require an overnight stay.
The role would ideally suit an exceptional recent school leaver or someone who has finished A-Levels and is now ready to enter the world of professional work.
