AsFinance Manager, you will oversee and manage all accounting matters in the UK, whilst ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
You will be the UK finance team leader and a key person in UK wide projects as well as instrumental in helping to facilitate a streamlined European accounting close cycle.
What will you do?
Working with UK controllers to ensure monthly, quarterly, annual numbers are submitted timely and accurately, and all internal processes are completed.
Responsible for monthly general ledger close activities including account maintenance and monthly / quarterly variance analysis.
Completion of 16 UK audits, and preparation of statutory accounts for all entities, plus the accounts for one UK branch.
Completion and submission of tax computations for the above entities.
Working with individual controllers to support the above and providing guidance where needed.
This will include oversight of the entire UK finance team (minimum of 4 direct reports).
Responsible for the maintenance and oversight of SOX compliance activities.
Working with US corporate team and Regional Financial Controller to implement new initiatives where necessary.
Support on payroll, AR, AP activities where required as well as annual budget.
Support to business heads and Regional Financial Controller on ad hoc projects where required.
Work with other external contacts, bankers etc.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role with proven finance team leadership skills.
A dynamic finance professional with excellent communication and presentation skills to be able to build strong trust-based relationships.
Knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP and/or SOX are highly valued.
