The Group spends 5-7% of annual revenue on Research& Development, and has set up R&D and manufacturing facilities in the US, Brazil, Germany and India.Due to fast growing business in UK, currently we look for an experienced Finance manager to join our young and friendly team in Sittingbourne, Swindon or Glasgow, following are details,Key responsibilities and duties:Lead the annual audit, prepare and finalize company tax documents (VAT Return, Corporation Tax, Personal Tax etc.)
and advise management on taxation mattersResponsible for maintenance of accurate and timely accounting records sufficient to comply with internal and external reporting purposesConduct quarterly VAT submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.Prepare and submit annual accounts and financial statements, working closely with external auditors and liaising with external accountants / HMRC as needed.Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities within all depotsResponsible for monthly review of Aged Debtors and Creditors and follow up outstanding balances as requiredManagement of team – Review of work, conducting reviews, creating development plans, distribution of work, daily support.Implement and own financial and operational KPI's and project-related reporting for our business.Elaborate the internal audit and control frameworkSupport the elaboration of the FP&A activities, analysing forecasting models and identifying opportunities and risks.Drive the adoption of new technologies and process improvements within the finance department to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operationsAny other ad hoc dutiesWhat we expect from you:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldMust be fully ACA/CA/ACCA qualified Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a finance leadership role within construction industryDemonstrate a depth of knowledge in accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and tax regulations.An understanding of the importance of governance, audit and complianceExperience working with accounting software, ideally SAPAttention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns and financial statementsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsValid full UK driving license is preferrable
