Following our continued expansion, we have recently opened new offices in Pasadena, California, and are seeking a skilled Finance Manager / Director to join our dynamic team in Manchester.
As the Finance Manager / Director, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for all financial control and accounting aspects.
This includes general ledger, cost accounting, cash management, accounts payable/receivable, credit control, fixed assets, and payroll.
You will play a crucial role in the operational accounting and long-term financial planning of the organization, supporting our global growth through strategic financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities: * Reporting directly to the CEO on strategic projects including revenue growth, cost control, * profit optimization, and process improvements.
* Oversee daily accounting and finance functions, ensuring efficiency and eliminating non-value-added activities.
* Manage and review monthly closing activities and financial reporting for internal * management.
* Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements through meticulous * attention to detail.
* Provide strategic data interpretation and problem-solving in a dynamic sales environment.
* Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and liaise on financial statements.
* Support global projects and analyses as needed.
Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field.
* Extensive accounting and finance experience, preferably in a service-led organization.
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software (or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
* Strong analytical abilities, documentation skills, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in lean business support principles and intercompany accounting.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
* High ethical standards and the ability to maintain objectivity across all levels of the * organization.
