Finance Manager

Brook Street are working with a highly reputable company based in Birchgrove.
The client are on the look out for experience finance managers who are open to taking on a new challenge.
The role is offering between £37,000 - £42,000 DOE.
This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, with a early finish every Friday at 4:30pm.
Responsibilities: Develop financial strategies to minimise risks, enhance profits, and support decision-making for company leaders.
Ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely preparation of financial statements.
Oversee accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management to support company goals.
Prepare monthly financial and payroll reports, including necessary adjustments.
Conduct daily bank reconciliations, keeping records organised and secure.
Support the year-end audit process and respond to auditor inquiries.
Attend monthly meetings to review actual expenses against the budget and address any financial concerns.
Manage and guide the Assistant Accountant, ensuring smooth daily operations within the finance department.
Complete client refunds and provide support on special projects as needed.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior finance or managerial role.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
Effective communication skills, both internally with team members and externally with customers and suppliers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
