Healthera, a fast-growing health-tech startup/scaleup, is seeking a dynamic Finance Lead to join the team and play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of finance as we embark on an exciting journey to transform the consumer medicine landscape with technology.
As the Finance Lead, you will work with the Founder/CEO and the finance team to develop a scalable finance function and provide strategic support to the senior leadership team.

We're accredited by NHS Digital and one of the fastest-growing digital health companies in Europe Key Responsibilities: You'll be fantastic for this role if you seek a commercial yet technical finance role whereby you'll have the autonomy to build a best-in-class accounting function, capable of supporting this rapidly scaling business.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function.
Key responsibilities include: Transactional finance: You will take ownership of day-to-day transactional finance including AP/AR/bank/credit control, payroll, expenses, journal entries, and cash reconciliations, building new processes and implementing new tools wherever necessary Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with the Finance Director to develop financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
Analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Strategic Support: Work closely with the Finance Director to support strategic initiatives and business development.
Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making processes.
Planning and KPI analysis: Support the senior team on financial planning as well as metric/KPI analysis (churn/LTV/CAC/ARR/MRR) Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to optimize working capital.
Implement strategies to support the company's financial health.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to align financial strategies with business goals.
Qualifications: Qualified accountant with a strong academic background.
ACCA, AC ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualifications are preferred Experience with SaaS or marketplace subscription business model - with clear understanding of SaaS and marketplace metrics Experience with Xero and Chargebee is highly desirable Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business Highly collaborative individual who likes working as part of a team, and creates strong working relationships and trust Self-starter, able to design and implement new processes, not just work within existing ones We offer: Competitive salary (based on experience) EMI-qualified share options for you to directly gain the rewards of the company's financial success Flexible working hours and hybrid work Private health insurance and thousands of pounds worth of health & wellbeing-related perks Growth opportunities within the role; exposure to strategic decisions that shape the company's growth Healthera is opening an office in London near Kings Cross in Q3 2024.
