Job Description As a Finance Intern, you will be getting involved with the following: Management of 3rd party billing in line with established processes.
Preparation of reconciliations and investigate reconciling items for closure.
Manage the signatories' process for payment authorisation.
Accounts Payable liaison between Shared Service Centre and Vendors.
Conclude escalation queries for AP raised by Global Shared Service Centres (Bangalore and Romania).
Daily management of interface and relationships between GSA.
Professional fees analysis.
RBIE (Ireland) contact for expenses and Account Payable (AP).
Completion of National Statistics returns.
Other ad-hoc projects will be assigned once the successful candidate has gained some experience and demonstrated their abilities.
Qualifications Studying for an Finance or Accounting undergraduate or Masters degree and required to take a placement as part of your course. You should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office; additionally, it is highly desirable that you are an advanced user of Excel.
An eye for detail is essential as well being a quick learner.
You should be able to prioritise workload accordingly to meet targets and have the ability to adhere to deadlines.
You should be proactive and with a positive attitude.
You should be enthusiastic, determined and flexible.
You will have good organisational skills.
Good communicator who is clear and able to communicate at all levels.
Quick learner that is analytical and accurate with a high level of attention to detail.

Additional Information This is a 12-month internship beginning in June 2025.
This position is open to undergraduates or Masters students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.
