British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Insights Manager - MSE in Chiswick, London. Marketing Finance provides proactive commercial insights and transparency of marketing decisions for effective resource allocation across the value chain. The Senior Marketing Finance Manager MSE role is a bridge between the Finance and Marketing functions. The jobholder's responsibility is to drive implementation of Marketing Spend effectiveness in WE to ensure the most effective utilization of Investment across the Area, in full knowledge of the implications on Consumer acquisition. The jobholder acts as a trusted business advisor to challenge and support the business to improve overall performance.
Your key responsibilities will be:Ensure data readiness for MSE implementation in WE:Data source availability & mapping (spend data per touchpoint);Data acquisition and enrichment (Distribution, Sales value);Data validation & compatibility for the model.Identify other performance drivers:Internal driver insights (Promo, NPIs, Pricing);External driver insights (Macro, Competitors);Ensure MSE modelling fit for purpose for WE (localize Global MSE Model).Link MSE modelling to Business questions (objectives of touchpoints/campaigns).Formulate relevant important metrics for each touchpoint.Lead analysis of the insights generated by the model with key collaborators.Drive preparation and presentation of touchpoint efficiency results of analyses to senior partners.Ensure regular model update & important metric tracking.Drive implementation of MSE into BAU Prioritization.Ensure the full consensus of the MSE methodology from the organization.What are we looking for?Experience Required: Finance professional or MBA or equivalent experience with extensive experience within an FMCG organization or in Consulting.Should have already performed the role of management and/or financial accountant or finance business partner.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Experience managing people/Collaborator management.Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required: Solid commercial approach, and understanding of all functions within a FMCG company.Knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and strategy, and market dynamics.Provider of financial insights regarding the impact of marketing strategies.Experience in setting and tracking of financial and marketing key performance indicators ideally with focus on digital channel.Experience of company planning process.Hands-on approach.Strong management and interpersonal skills.Proactive, persuasive, and creative by challenging existing, and introducing new ideas.Able to work with all levels of staff, both internal and external.Ability to manage under pressure and cope with a changing environment.What we offer you?
