DE&S are looking for talented, motivated, and ambitious university graduates to join our two-year Finance graduate development programme and become our Finance professionals of the future.
You'll rotate through several placements focused around Finance roles across different areas of DE&S that will give you the opportunity to learn about different aspects of Finance.
You'll gain real experience in: forecasting the future budget reviewing and creating accruals providing financial analysis to support decision making nvolvement in developing costings for business cases tracking costs to contracts and ensuring they are recorded correctly using financial systems Your hands-on experience will be underpinned by MOD and DE&S specific training as well as study towards the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting.
There's a requirement for candidates interested in the Finance Scheme to have a strong interest and ability in working with numbers.
On successful completion of your two-year programme, you may be offered a permanent position with DE&S, that reflects the interests and skills you've developed throughout the programme.
Entry requirements: GCSE Maths and English Language at a minimum of grade 4 (or equivalent qualification).
And An honours degree in any subject at 2:1 or higher.
