Finance Functional Process Lead

Job Title: Finance Functional Process Lead Location: Windsor, UK Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Visit to the office once every week) Assignment Duration: 6 months Rate Payable to Contractors: £500 - £525 Job Purpose and Primary Objectives: Serve as a Solution Developer in the IoT delivery squad.
Key Responsibilities: Represent finance interests in projects, ensuring finance process impacts are understood and appropriately translated into requirements.
Obtain and understand current finance processes before project initiation, identifying process improvement opportunities and including them within Finance requirements when relevant.
Map finance process architecture, define project scope, and collaborate closely with the Fusion project team and Services finance team.
Work with IT, the project owner, and Finance at various stages of the project lifecycle.
Analyze finance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancing system efficiencies.
Conduct diagnostic/investigative work to identify and resolve issues in finance processes.
Other Responsibilities (Budgets, Targets, Equipment): Ensure accurate capture and reflection of business requirements in user stories aligned with sprint goals.
Key Skills/Knowledge Required: Strong finance background with experience in financial control environments within fast-paced, evolving businesses.
Proven experience in managing and delivering change for finance functions.
Good working knowledge of SAP and other accounting packages (e.g., MS Dynamics); familiarity with Microsoft Office Products is advantageous.
Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
Track record in delivering end-to-end process improvement.
Experience working with revenue and/or debt reporting processes.
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and logical/methodical working style.
Experience managing complex processes and familiarity with Big Data concepts.
Ability to work within diverse portfolios and matrix management structures.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (oral and written).
Professional finance qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
