Divisional Finance Director | Listed Organisation Base salary: £130K - £150K plus generous bonus and benefits Location: Birmingham / North West London Hybrid (1-2 days) - must be based between the London-Birmingham area due to travel requirement STOIX is delighted to have been retained by a growing, listed business to appoint their new Finance Director to strategically and commercially partner the MD and drive both organic and inorganic business growth.
The key responsibilities will involve: Drive financial planning by analysing the company's performance Oversee all audit and internal controls operations Partner with the Managing Director on potential buy-side M&A to assist the inorganic growth of the business and play a key role in its successful integration Successfully lead and develop a strong finance team Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines Partner with the SLT to drive organic growth of the business Continuously improve operations through innovative strategies The successful candidate: A qualified accountant Essential prior experience operating as a Finance Director, Owning a P&L and Balance Sheet for a business or operating company Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices In-depth experience of project accounting (backgrounds in construction, architecture, design, or industrial service provision desirable) Great understanding of financial planning and analysis A commercial leader with a proven track record of adding value as a strategic partner International experience desirable Strong leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Our Commitment: We believe in creating inclusive workplaces that value diversity.
