More detail about the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Support Officer to work across both the Income/Contracting and Management Accounts teams on a full-time basis.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with drugs and devices data to provide expert financial analysis to maximise income delivery whilst reconciling against expenditure.
Alongside operational and clinical colleagues, the role will involve working closely with Pharmacy, Business Intelligence, NHS England and other commissioners to deliver the reporting requirements of the trust.
Meeting regularly with Pharmacy and financial colleagues, you will present income and expenditure data, answer any queries and explain any variances that may arise.
As part of the role you will be expected to prepare expense, income and activity budgets as part of the annual planning cycle, perform period budget reviews and update the general ledger and other financial systems to ensure accurate reporting.
